Welcome to Liz Marie Photography.

I am so glad you are here! I started Liz Marie Photography in high school after saving up all my pennies to buy an entry level (and I mean entry level) DSLR. Man, did I feel cool walking around with that behemoth of a camera! Man, were my pictures…bad! I continued to self-teach myself the art of photography and editing through college, grad school, and my young working years. Slowly, I saw improvement in my work and, in conjunction, LMP grew! With a focus on weddings and engagements, LMP proved to be an enjoyable and profitable creative outlet for me in that season.

In 2020, I married my guy, Tim. We proceeded to have our two boys in quick succession (16 months apart), and are currently expecting our first little lady. For the last 2 years (due to the aforementioned little boys/wild dingo’s), LMP has been on pause as we catch our breath.

In the summer of 2024, with great encouragement from Tim, we re-upped this account, upgraded my camera, and re-structured LMP to focus largely on portraits, couples, and families. I’m excited to be back behind the lens - for however long it may last!

About Me.

Hi, I’m Liz! I’m wife to Tim, mamma to two (almost three) little ones, and follower of Christ. Most of my days are spent at home or at the park, and I am very skilled at identifying the sound of a spilled bag of quinoa from miles away. Excuse me for a minute, won’t you…

I have lived in Indianapolis my whole life and don’t plan to go anywhere anytime soon. I graduated from IUPUI (#RIP) with a MA in Philanthropy from the Lily Family School of Philanthropy. I have used this degree exactly 0 time. Instead, for the past 7 years, I have enjoyed being a REALTOR with @properties IND. Along with this, I have done contract marketing work and am currently enrolled as a student with Indianapolis Theological Seminary . As you can tell, I am great at slowing down.

In my free time, I love..well…trying to slow down. You can find me awake very early - reading, journaling, sipping coffee, and praying my kids sleep until 7. Other than that, most hobbies are on pause during this sweet and intense season.

In short, life is pretty normal around here. If all parties are alive by dinner time, we’ve done a good job.
